Sweetie is just as her name describes her- sweet, lovely, and incredibly good-natured. We think she's a long-haired dachshund mix, who's probably around one. Right now, she's sharing her home with Stanley, and loves to be included in everything, from sitting in your lap, to going on walks, to having her belly rubbed. She's just learned sit, and is ready to learn a few more commands, and as smart as she is, this shouldn't be too hard. Sweetie will do well in many different kinds of homes, as long as it's a home that will have plenty of time for her, from teaching her new cues to cuddling with her on movie night. We don't think Sweetie will do well in a home where she's left alone for 8 hours, five days a week, but she'll thrive in a home where she'll get to be your constant right-hand girl. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on all their vaccinations. All of our animals are up to date on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and have had a physical exam. At adoption we provide: veterinary records and vaccine certificates, castration certificate, lifetime lost animal support, one month’s worth of flea medication and heartworm medication, one week’s worth of food, a leash, a collar, an ID tag, and a familiar toy or blanket to help them settle in. We also provide lifetime basic positive training support.
