Ellie is a very lovable, sweet and friendly 7 year old terrier (possibly shih-tzu) mix. Ellie was adopted in 2013 and was returned when her owner fell on hard times and had to make the heartbreaking decision to give Ellie up. She enjoys the company of people and other dogs and is a perfect little companion. Ellie's former adopter did say that she will bark when left alone at home, so she needs to be in a home where people are home most of the time, can take Ellie with them, or where her barking would not be an issue; Otherwise, Ellie is generally quiet and an easy keeper.

All of our animals are up to date on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and have had a physical exam. At adoption we provide: veterinary records and vaccine certificates, castration certificate, lifetime lost animal support, one month’s worth of flea medication and heartworm medication, one week’s worth of food, a leash, a collar, an ID tag, and a familiar toy or blanket to help them settle in. We also provide lifetime basic positive training support.
